Dr. David Geffen and Sylvia Geffen Being Honored For Their Philanthropy and Community Leadership

Dr. David Geffen and his wife Sylvia are being honored at the 36th annual Seacrest Village Retirement Communities’ Women’s Auxillary Gala “Sapphire Jubilee” on February 1, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla.

Over the years Sylvia and Dr. Geffen have generously supported numerous organizations and projects that help promote Jewish traditions and culture. David is a past president of the Jewish Community Center, as well as a member of the Wexner Heritage Foundation and Sylvia is the President of the Seacrest Foundation. Both are extremely active in the San Diego community, serving on a number of non-profit boards. They are dedicated to the mission and values of Seacrest Village, promoting community, independence and innovation.

We are proud of David and Sylvia for their dedication to the community and people served, in the various organizations they support throughout San Diego.
